Dr. Arslan Ahmed earned his Medical degree from Beihua University School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Vassar Brothers Medical Center - Nuvance Health, Poughkeepsie, NY. He is board-certified in internal medicine by American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Ahmed completed his Nephrology fellowship training at The George Washington University Medical Center. His clinical interests include chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, hypertension, critical care nephrology, and hemodialysis.
Outside of work, Dr. Ahmed loves spending time with his family, enjoying road trips, experiencing new foods, and cooking. He is available for both inpatient and outpatient consultations through Fredericksburg Nephrology Associates.

The Fresenius Medical Care Home Therapies Unit is a free standing unit conveniently located next to our 101 Park Hill office for patients who choose to do dialysis at home. Our physicians offer all home dialysis options, including peritoneal dialysis and home hemodialysis.
